3 November 2019 This was the first ITSC competition of the 2019-20 shooting season.

Barry and Robert (and James) set-up a challenging Pro-Trap competition for all those members that were interested in participating in this type of clay discipline.

The day was well supported with 11 eager and keen competitors taking up the challenge with several other members coming over to the field and watching and saying that they would not mind doing this in the future.

I was dreading the Sunday, because on the Saturday where I live, we have lots of rain and very strong almost gale force gusts and if this was to be repeated on the Sunday, it would prove a very challenging competition for all. Thankfully not, Sunday was slightly overcast, NO wind (well from nature) and the rain kept off all day.

We all had great fun thanks to Robert's and James's challenging course and the competitor’s abilities or not in some cases (National clay saving day!!). Competitors kept their spirits up by exchanging and encouraging banter and useful tips.

Many thanks to all those that took part in the competition and the Robert and James for their help in setting up, operating and scoring the competition.

The Results

Well done to Andrew for an excellent shooting performance to win the Pro-Trap competition with 21 clays scored out of a maximum 25. James, so close with 18/25 after taking the lead from Barry and Corbie 17/25 and well done to all other competitors competing in the competition.
