ISHAPORE 2A1 RIFLE

The Indian Lee Enfield ! 

The Rifle 7.62mm 2A/2A1 (also known as the Ishapore 2A/2A1) is a 7.62×51mm NATO calibre bolt-action rifle adopted as a reserve arm by the Indian Armed Forces in 1963. The rifle is a variant of the Lee–Enfield rifle. The design of the rifle – initially the Rifle 7.62mm 2A – began at the Rifle Factory Ishapore of the Ordnance Factories Board in India, soon after the Sino-Indian War of 1962.

The Ishapore 2A/2A1 has the distinction of being the last bolt-action rifle designed to be used by a regular military force other than specialised sniper rifles. While it is no longer in service with the Indian military, the rifle is still used by the Indian police.

Also available separately is 6.5CM re-loading kit with lots of Brass, Case Sizing tools, choice of excellent Dies, Primers, ELD Match Bullet Heads, Powder etc to provide for plenty of re-loads. £300 or £250 if purchased with Rifle. Also data sheets for load development for the rifle and the settings for your load and ballistics calculators. 

This is good to 1400+ for a good shooter, easily handles 1200 at Bisley and Barton and 1000 or less isn't too much of a challenge if you can judge windage. It also looks great too.

Here we have one REMINGTON 598 fitted with a bull barrel in a Boyds laminated stock, fitted with a new Discovery scope and scope mounts, also fitted with an aftermarket pepper pot muzzle brake.

Comes with 4 x 30 round magazines, and 4 x 8 round flush fitting Remington magazines. Magazines cost £35 and £33 each respectively.

A superb package consisting of a 2017 model Accuracy International AXMC in 300 Win Mag. Fewer than 1000 rounds from new and comes complete with AI bipod, 2 x 10 round magazines, ASE moderator, muzzle brake and IOR Lutaz scope in 3-25 x 50 first focal plane (Mil Rad).

Chassis and scope are in supreme condition and comes with a Nuprol hard case.

Chiappa Alaskan Takedown rifle, bought not too long ago but our member has decided to stick to his long range efforts.
This .44 Mag underlever  has the oversized hoop for those with a larger hand.
Sadly it has to find a new owner who will use and enjoy it. 
There is a set of dies and a bucket load of brass in .44 mag and .44 special that came with the gun.

BOLT OPEN CLASSICS - .69 BLACK POWDER CANNON

 

This is one of 5 hand made cannons in the Club, made by Bolt Open Classics in Bishop Auckland.

This one has never actually been fired so is effectively in brand new condition. Comes with two ram rods and a roll of fuse. These are great fun and require a Firearm Certificate.

They are ideal first rifles for those just getting their first FAC and are priced very well.

Don't have much detail on them except they've been looked over and recently serviced by a local gunsmith, and are available at just £100 each. That's great value for all of them, but especially for the scoped and moderatored one !
